What are the differences between Boudoir, Erotica, Fetish and BDSM photoshoots at Domina?

Boudoir - Images can be fully clothed, partially clothed, in lingerie, implied nudity or nude.

Images are sensual and sexy but not overtly sexual. There are no restraints, bdsm or sexually suggestive images.

Erotica - Images can be fully clothed, partially clothed, in lingerie, implied nudity or nude

Images can be sensual and sexy but they can also be provocative and sexually charged and more overtly sexual. The images are meant to arouse. Restraints, BDSM and fetish elements can be present.

BDSM - BDSM equipment, acts and posing images are created.

Fetish - these images can be fetish related and aspects of erotica and BDSM can be included

PLEASE NOTE:

  • in compliance with federal law all Erotica, BDSM and Fetish shoots will require a picture ID and we will retain all images from the shoot both raw and edited for a period of 7 years. Additional consent forms will also have to be signed.

  • an assistant may be required for all BDSM and Fetish photoshoots to assure safety of all involved

  • the photographer and client will fully discuss boundaries on both sides in regards to all shoots

Answers to Common Questions and Concerns

  • What product do you have available? We have several product package options including digital only packages.

  • I don’t know if I can afford it, it is expensive. We strive to produce high quality art and a luxury experience - If you embrace the experience we will help you learn about yourself and see yourself differently. We spend a lot of time making sure you are going to be thrilled with your photoshoot experience and images. We have payment plans available to help break up the investment.

  • I don’t know if I would feel comfortable. Your comfort level is VERY important to us. We use intake questionnaires, pre session consultation and day of communication to make sure you feel safe and you are within your comfort zone.

  • I am nervous We will walk you through the entire process before we ever pick up a camera so you are fully aware and comfortable with the process

  • I have no idea what I would wear or what kind of images I want We will have a styling and concept consultation to discuss options in regards to style of shoot, what to wear, props and your vision

  • Do you edit the images? All images are delivered fully and professionally edited. We will lightly edit and stylize however we will not edit to change the shape of your body

  • I don’t want my pictures shared. Your pictures are only shared if you sign a photo release

  • I have a trauma history We are trauma informed.

  • I think I need to lose weight or go to the gym first. Your body is perfect the way it is! Let us help challenge you to see yourself in a different light

  • I don’t have lingerie If you don’t have anything to wear we have many props and a client closet. Jeans and a t-shirt, big sweaters, dresses can all be used for a shoot

  • I don’t know how to pose. We pose you from head to toe and we coach for emotion. It is FUN! You will feel like a rock star! Sessions are very empowering!

  • What makes us different? We want to get to know you, we want to hear your story and create art that is meaningful and shows your true light. We coach for emotion, no beautiful but dead face images we will capture your shine.
