Published in After Dark Artist Magazine

It all begins with an idea and opportunity. I was given the chance to enter my photo’s to be considered for publication. Now, to say I was nervous was an understatement. I vacillated from being confident to feeling like an imposter. I must have hovered over the submit button for what seemed like hours. I finally sent my pictures into the abyss not knowing if my images would stack up against other photographers around the globe.

I think every artist can be self critical and overthink things from time to time. I am no different. When my images were chosen, I felt a sense of excitement, anxiety, relief, and pride all smushed up together.

Being published was a validation that my shit is good and I am confident I can make anyone look like a bad ass. So what are you waiting for? Book a shoot and express yourself!
